Mould Inspection and Validation
HA NOI MOULD TECHNOLOGY COMPANY LIMITED inspects injection moulds and trial parts against the drawings, moulding conditions and acceptance criteria agreed with each customer. HANOI MOULD records items that require correction before the mould proceeds to the next project stage.
Main inspection scope
- Review critical dimensions against the customer-approved 2D drawing and tolerance table.
- Evaluate appearance, parting lines, gate location, ejector marks and other visible features specified for the part.
- Check the movement and operation of sliders, lifters, ejector components and related mould mechanisms.
- Review cooling-water connections, venting and mould interfaces within the agreed project scope.
- Evaluate filling behavior, deformation, shrinkage, assembly function and other trial-part observations relevant to acceptance.
Trial-part validation
Trial samples are reviewed together with the recorded moulding conditions and the intended use of the plastic part. Any nonconformity is converted into a clear correction item. After adjustment, the mould can be trialled and reviewed again according to the agreed approval plan.
Project documentation
The inspection package depends on the RFQ and project agreement. It may include dimensional results, recorded trial conditions, sample photographs, a correction list and a pre-delivery inspection record. The exact document set should be confirmed before mould design and manufacturing begin.
Information the customer should provide
- Editable 3D data, a 2D drawing and a list of critical dimensions.
- Material, color, surface and appearance requirements.
- Assembly, functional and end-use conditions for the moulded part.
- Required sample quantity, report format and mould-delivery documents.
- Acceptance responsibilities and the approval sequence for each trial stage.
Defining these inputs early helps the inspection focus on the characteristics that affect product function and project acceptance. HANOI MOULD does not apply an assumed tolerance or document package when the customer has not specified one.
Inspection and correction loop
- Confirm the inspection scope and acceptance criteria.
- Record mould and trial-part observations.
- Agree on correction items and priorities.
- Repeat the relevant checks and issue the agreed records.
