Mould Manufacturing Process – Hanoi Mould Technology

The mould manufacturing process at Hanoi Mould Technology Co., Ltd is a combination of advanced technology, precision engineering, and experienced craftsmanship. With over 20 years of expertise in injection mold design and production, we provide complete solutions from DFM analysis to final mold validation for global customers in automotive, electronics, household, and medical industries.

1. Design and DFM Analysis

Every project begins with a detailed mould manufacturing process starting from 3D design and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) analysis. Our engineers evaluate part geometry, gate type, cooling layout, and ejection system to optimize mold performance, material flow, and cycle time.
We use professional software like Creo, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD, combined with Moldflow simulation for accuracy and efficiency.

2. CNC Machining and EDM Precision

Once the design is approved, high-speed CNC machining, wire-cut EDM, and sinker EDM are performed with digital control for maximum precision. The mould manufacturing process ensures each component meets tolerance within ±0.005 mm, guaranteeing long tool life and stable production.
Our machines include Makino, Sodick, and Fanuc systems, enabling excellent surface finish and dimensional consistency.

3. Assembly and Functional Testing

After machining, the mold components are assembled and adjusted by skilled technicians. During this stage, the mould manufacturing process focuses on alignment accuracy, smooth operation, and tight fitting between core and cavity.
Each mold is tested through T1, T2, and T3 trials to confirm product quality, plastic flow balance, and cooling performance.

4. Quality Inspection and Delivery

All molds are inspected under ISO 9001:2015 standards using CMM measurement, hardness testing, and visual inspection before shipment. Detailed inspection reports and maintenance instructions are included with every delivery.
Hanoi Mould’s dedication to quality ensures that every customer receives a precise, reliable, and durable mold ready for global production.
